Agreement to these terms
By using NewBrightonStructuralDrying.com you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site.
What this site is
This site publishes general reference material about structural drying — how water moves through building materials, what drying equipment does, how moisture is measured, and how drying decisions are made. It also provides a way to request service.
The content is general information, not a professional assessment
Every water loss is different. Material assembly, water category, how long the material has been wet, cavity access, and ambient conditions all change the correct response. Nothing on this site is an inspection, a diagnosis, a scope of work, a price quote, or advice specific to your property. Reading a page here is not a substitute for readings taken on site by someone who can see the building.
Do not delay action on a water loss to research it. Water moves while you read.
Safety
Water and electricity together are dangerous, and some of the work described on this site involves confined spaces, cutting into building assemblies, contaminated water, and heavy equipment. If there is standing water near electrical service, an unknown water source, sewage involvement, or any structural concern, stop and get qualified help. You act on anything you read here at your own risk.
No guarantee of accuracy
The material here is offered in good faith and reviewed for accuracy, but building science practice evolves, products change, and errors happen. The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, data, revenue, or profit, arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content.
Requests are not a contract
Submitting the form or calling starts a conversation. It does not create a contract, reserve equipment, schedule work, or commit either side to anything. No work, price, or timeline is agreed until it is agreed directly and in writing.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, and design of this site belong to its operator. You may read, print, and quote short passages with attribution and a link. Republishing pages in whole or in substantial part, or using the content to train or populate another commercial website, is not permitted.
Links
If a page ever links to an outside resource, that resource is not under this site’s control and its content is not endorsed by this site.
Third-party trademarks
Any product, brand, or equipment names appearing on this site are the property of their owners and are used only to describe or identify a type of equipment or material. Their use does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement in either direction.
Changes
These terms may be updated at any time by posting a revised version on this page. The version posted when you use the site is the version that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Ramsey County, Minnesota.
